Pontoon Road Detour
During the construction period, please obey all traffic signs, signals, & pavement markings. STOPPING ON OR BETWEEN THE RAILROAD
TRACKS IS PROHIBITED. Motorists traveling along Pontoon Road shall
obey all warning devices prior to entering or within the RR crossing zone. Beginning January 1, 2009, any motorist who obstructs a railroad grade crossing
will face tougher penalties.
Pontoon Road Closure
Pontoon Rd. will be closed at the intersection of Pontoon Rd. and Route 203, east of Route 203 to Moro. Until further Notice.
22nd Street Closure
22nd St. RR crossing will be closed from Century Dr. to Missouri Ave. Effective May 18, 2009 until further notice.
21st Street Closure
21st street will be closed from RT.203 to Monroe street the week of 9/10/08 to 9/18/08 in order to install new water and sewer lines. For questions or concerns, please the Public Works Director at 618-452-6215.
20th Street Open
Construction on 20th street has been completed. The road is open for public use again.
Stratford Lane
Construction along Stratford Lane has been completed. The road is open for public use again. However, Mockingbird Lane will be under construction this coming year.

2008 Repaving Program
