Detective Lieutenant
Lt. Mike Nordstrom was hired on 8-16-95. He has more than 15 years of service with the Granite City Police Department. Lieutenant Nordstrom has continued his education and earned his Masters Degree in Criminal Justice Management.Lieutenant Nordstrom is currently heading up the everyday operations of the Investigation Division. He is also a member of the Major Case Squad of Greater St. Louis as an investigator.
Detective Bob Patrich was hired as a dispatcher on 11-18-91 and a Patrolman on 04-01-98. He currently has over 18 years of service as a city employee. Detective Patrich was recently transferred to the Investigative Division and has the duty of overseeing the Registered Sex Offenders within our city. He also is involved with the new Granite City Housing Ordinance dealing with educating the landlords.
Detective Gary Brooks was hired on 10/17/05. He has more than 5 years of service with the Granite City Police Department. Officer Brooks has earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice. He is currently working as a Detective in the Investigation Division.

Detective Brad Skalsky was hired on 05/03/04. He has more than 6 years of service with the Granite City Police Department. Officer Skalsky has earned his Associates Degree in Criminal Justice. He is a Field Training Officer and a member of our SRT Team. He is currently working as a Detective in the Investigation Division.
Detective Kevin Thebeau was hired on 11/16/88 and has more than 22 years of service with the Granite City Police Department. He has worked several different drug details and is currently working on a Task Force with DEA.
