Officer Commendations/Complaints

Commendations about the police can be made:

Any citizen who is dissatisfied with police services or believes they have witnessed or been a victim of police misconduct can file a complaint in person at the police department.

To file a complaint, go to the front desk and meet with the Officer in Charge (OIC). Inform the officer of your complaint and if necessary ask for a Complaint Against Officer form. This must be filled out completely and notarized by a Notary before returning the form to the police department.
