The Information Technology Department provides daily operational technical support to all city personnel. We troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade the City’s computers, networks, and software applications. We currently support over 100 computers, servers, laptops, and mobile data terminals at 7 building locations throughout the city.
The IT Department’s mission is to provide prompt, professional, and courteous technological support to all city personnel. We will recommend and deploy technology-based solutions that will enhance the ability of city officials, staff, and employees to provide the highest level of service to the citizens of Granite City.
