New Owner Electrical Inspection

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

     1. No Knob and tube allowed.
     2. 100 AMP minimum service.
     3. No open splices allowed.
     4. No open boxes allowed.
     5. No open wires anywhere, especially in closets
     6. Functional GFI’s required in all bathrooms and kitchen counters (within six (6) feet of a water source).
     7. Where 14 AWG wire is found a 15 amp fuse is max allowed.
     8. No lights or fixtures may be hung from wire.
     9. No aluminum wire allowed under any circumstances.
   10. All trailers must have all electrical hook up performed by a certified (licensed) electrician.
