Granite City Junior Service Club
The Granite City Junior Service Club is a not for profit organization compromised of area women: it has been in existence since 1931. The Club, from its inception, has been interested not only in children, but in civic affairs and the welfare of the entire community. Boy Scout Troop 1899
Boy Scout Troop 1899 was formed in 2006 and is supported by United Steelworkers Local 1899. Troop 1899 invites all boy’s from age 11 thru 17 to be part of the outdoor fun and enjoyment. In summer of 2007 the scouts participated in two weeks of summer camp that included many outdoor activities like swimming, boating, mud caving, shooting sports, archery, fishing and much, much more. In addition to the fun they also earned 57 merit badges. Troop 1899 is involved in many activities during the winter months as well. For more information visit our website at http://troop1899.org

Girl Scouting in Granite City
Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence and character, who make the world a better place. It’s for every girl, everywhere. The program is based on the needs and interests of girls and the Girl Scout Promise and Law. Girls can participate in troop meetings, events, and travel. National membership dues are $15. Financial Assistance is available for families who qualify.
